It’s a poorly timed castlevania symphony of the night quote lol
“What is a man? A miserable little pile of secrets. But enough talk, have at you!”
Don’t take me too seriously - I sure don’t

I’m at a solid 5. Yesterday was a good day, I got to sleep in this morning, and its gonna be a chill day after a busy one. I’m doin’ all right right now.

January, I took a five day weekend and in the middle of it was actually doing things I wanted to do and having fun, instead of my usual of trudging through work, making dinner, and going straight to bed after. I think that was pretty good, I felt a little happy. Before that it was probably over a year though. I have to enjoy it when it comes, because it’s sparse and fleeting.

Lullabies for the Dormant Mind from The Agonist is the first one that comes to mind. Fantastic album, and the title and album art are both just on point.

Oh shit, that actually looks pretty sicknasty

I just have a key ring that I attached my first dog’s nametag to. It says Adventure Dog on the front, it’s nice.

Lmao the sea of sorrow is just thirty rooms of muckmaggots

A few other good ones that come to mind:
Axiom Verge
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night
Guacamelee
Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight
Rabi-Ribi
A Robot Named Fight (it’s basically if super metroid was a roguelike)
Touhou Luna Nights
Cave Story
Also, the Castlevania Advance Collection is three GBA metroidvanias, definitely worth getting if you wanna play/replay any of those.

Same way I’ve always felt about professional sports. Do what you want, have fun, but you’re taking a game way too seriously.

Breath of the wild. I loved Zelda games up until then, and everything after is so fucking boring. I don’t get it.

It was last night, I was playing Windblown with a friend and we were on our fourth endless loop. Everything was melting, it got very silly. Watching a boss healthbar just drop instantly was hilarious.
For video games, I just beat silksong, which was super fun and pretty brutal. The art and music is phenomenal though, it’s a great game. Working on Hades 2 right now, which is also fantastic and I’d recommend.
For board games I’ve been getting my group into the Heroes 3 board game. It’s the biggest box I’ve ever seen for a game lol. It does a great job of feeling like the computer game while meeting the constraints of a board game, plus there’s lots of bits to fiddle with. Downside is its huge, so you need a big table or a group comfortable playing on the floor.

Cats aren’t exactly uncommon, but my little girl is hairless so I think she might count?

To eventually not hate my job, and unfortunately not

Barnacles, relative to body size, have the longest penises in the world

What would a person personally get from procreating?
A child?

I think the future is bleak and procreation at this point is selfish. I’m not one to prescribe what other people can do, but even if I still could I would never have a child.
What if it’s just for fun and not for money? Is that morally okay? Or is it just nudity is icky?
