I see a lot of the ones in the grocers are from the US.
If ever I see them on the shelf, I have to grab Dee’s.

Ronnie’s Jumbo peanuts and sunflower seeds are the best you’ll find anywhere. They’re from Manitoba.

Seems there are a surprising number of nut varieties that can be grown in zone 3. I wonder if I could talk the condo board into planting some Korean pines? Pine nuts are the most expensive item in the grocery store by weight right now.
I know walnuts are grown in BC because I used to be able to get them from the farmer’s market in Calgary 16+ years ago. I don’t know how widely available they are outside BC, though. Hazelnuts (filberts) will grow on the prairies in zone 3, but I haven’t heard of anyone growing them commercially.
