On September 2, the US military bombed a boat in the Caribbean, killing 11 civilians. Regional leaders denounced the attack as murder, but Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney remained silent. His stance reflects a deeper history of hostility toward Venezuela, including blocking its gold reserves while governor of the Bank of England.
Well I mean in line with the same logic, I don’t really notice Europe screaming about it much either.
I think the very big Canadian lesson in all of this, and especially what we’ve learned with Ukraine and Russia and all of that, is that we are going to be largely left to our own devices. Thoughts and prayers and some token contributions are going to be made from our allies should something stupid happen, and thats going to be about it. So Canada better get double time working on this Citizens Army and all these other initiatives that are supposedly in the plans for 2026. We are going to get caught flat footed otherwise. It’s going to be 1936 and we are Poland.
Europe is as hypocrical only caring about themselves preaching human right abuses and democracy while being involved in many conflicts in africa, now some african countries are turning to russia unfortunatly because of it
