I’m all for it, absolutely strike, but…

I think it’s too late. The time to strike was years ago against the obvious bad decisions of upper management. Stock price is less than a dollar, the company IPs are worthless

Better late than never I guess

    So how long till Tencent buys Ubisoft completely, takes the IP’s it wants and just closes/sells everything else? I give it a year max

    Strike is only for 3 days according to the article. I think they should strike until their demands are met, otherwise Ubislop could just wait it out.

      I will never understand why people announce end dates to strikes or boycotts. It defeats the entire purpose.

      You don’t stop until they cave.

        It’s more about getting people to be willing to strike. A lot more folks will commit to a few days to send a message before moving to something more aggressive.

        The fact they’re doing this at all makes them brave. That they’re doing it in an economy that’s been dogshit for game devs looking for work is incredible.

      Yeah when the company is looking to cut as much cost as possible, if it’s not an indefinite strike then you’re just telling them ahead of time that they should probably just let you all go
