Title… Honestly, I’m just tired of funding monsters, just because we’ve gotten used to using their platforms.

Besides Crypto, which is what I imagine a lot of people would say (and Props, if Monero), CCs, and Cash (the tried and true) are there any other avenues?

A paypal alternative needs to be accepted in most places for it to be viable.

Basically the only thing that meets that criteria is a credit card. And even then, you’re almost limited to Visa and MasterCard as the others aren’t always accepted.

I’d guess that all financial institutions are awful monsters and likely isn’t even a lesser of evils option. I’ve been lifetime banned from PayPal, CashApp and Zelle; I was helping a sexy content seller process her funds for a few years. It was honestly a great side hustle and easily banked 10k over 4 years. Bummed when they finally banned me, stopped helping her so I could preserve the few pay portals I still had.

I think a money app that accepted nsfw sellers would do well with a niche market.

It’s really a great example of the problem: Your ability to conduct commerce has been heavily limited at the whims of a few corporations. That really shouldn’t be able to happen.

Which then redirects us to Cash. Not disagreeing with it, but I can understand others don’t want to always carry.

This list is pretty sick! But, what about for the US (Im from PR, so I sadly count as part of it) And maybe I’m being silly, but are these regionally popular? Or are they inter-operable?

I don’t know the situation in USA or Puerto Rico. Yes, they are popular and their popularity is increasing rapidly since the Orange-tufted Mushroomdick took power, with support from the EU. Especially Wero is being built out.
