As someone who lives in Toronto they’re a god damn corrupt force that does jack all. it’s a damn weekly thing where you’ll read in the news ANOTHER Toronto cop on paid suspension for something. AND then it’s a yearly thing when the city budget comes up and surprise, surprise TPS asks for more money. And the beauty of it all is that city council isn’t even allowed to debate the amount. they can either say yes or no.

TPS is pretty much the mob.

I just listened to the episode. It’s really interesting to hear how they’ve defended themselves over the decades by attacking reformers.
