Hello. I’m looking for a men’s windbreaker / rain / spring type jacket of acceptable quality and price. I’ve been looking briefly online and noticed either expensive or US-made (Patagonia), or recognizable brands with terrible reviews saying they’re fake or dogshit quality (Columbia, North Face).

Things I’m looking for in said jacket:

-zipper, not buttons

-waterproof or at least water-resistant

-black like my soul

-made in Canada, if possible

-logos or branding kept to a minimum

-delivery if possible

-a hood

Here are a couple pics of the style I’m looking for.

You might browse the site GoodOnYou. They have a lot of different ethical brands.

I’ve noticed a lot of thr Canadian brands are geared to extreme cold but that doesn’t seem exactly what you’re looking for. If you don’t mind European (hey, it ain’t murica) there’s a wider selection and at the “buying a jacket” price point, they’ll usually deliver for free.

If you don’t mind shelling out a bit, my friend has a Wuxley jacket that’s lasted for awhile and seems pretty great. (Canadian ethical company!)

    Good luck!
