I think most modern cars and small SUVs actually are fine, despite the more powerful and concentrated lighting they have. The improvement in aim and cutoff is usually worth it.

It’s the massive number of idiots who don’t know how to use their lights (no lights or high beams all the time) and truck bros with their overly huge trucks that police don’t do anything about. And none of the suggested solutions in the form are likely to help that until police stop siding with the truck bros, which doesn’t look likely.

Here’s the link to Transport Canada’s (TC’s) website, it provides the same link directly to survey monkey.

    https://tc.canada.ca/en/corporate-services/consultations/canadian-experience-vehicle-headlights-glare-night

If you prefer not to use survey monkey you can always send TC a email with comments directly

Send us an email If you want to send your feedback directly, or you are looking for more information, you can send your comments to MVS-SA@tc.gc.ca, make sure to include “Headlight glare” in the email subject line.

I’ve seen them use Qualtrics before so I wouldn’t be surprised.

What I am suspicious about tho is that official accounts weren’t linked.

It’ll be better than whatever shit they come up with themselves. They’ll have you logging in with your bank authentication and still want to mail you a PIN so you can then enable OTP and send you a text code. And then it’ll be offline 6 days out of 7 for “maintenance”.

Goddamn, their web developers are fucking horrid. Use a spam account email with surveymonkey and count yourself lucky it’s working long enough to actually pass on your opinion about headlights.

It’s the “fuck them, they’re going to do what we damn well tell them to do” attitude that just pisses me off. They get no benefit from making things more difficult, but they do it because they can.
