Agreed. It’s disgusting. Am a relapsed nicotine addict, I still walk all the way to the park before sparking up and feel disgusting for it.

the reason I’m a relapsed: people don’t realize what it was like when everyone everywhere smoked all the time. I grew up in a family - sisters, dad, mom, grandparents, who smoked constantly. road trips? windows up baby. every meal, before and after? flavor town.

I remember teachers asking me if I smoked because my clothes would reek of their bullshit. And going to aafes to score cheap smokes for the whole clan just made it seem inevitable. but it’s not. we have multiple generations of kids now who never seen someone light up in a restaurant. or a movie theater. or on a plane trip.

    fucking evil horrid chemical.

Aw man. Sorry you had to grow up around so much smoking. Yeah it basically develops into an addiction just from the second hand smoke. And there’s also a kind of nostalgia that gets associated with the smell of cigarettes I would imagine.

yeah, a double sided one - literally ‘ooh yeah’ and ‘hurk gross’ at the same time.
