    Ya, well

The federal government published an advisory this week warning of potential travel disruptions abroad during the busy summer season due to the ongoing war in the Middle East.

And leaving many dozens of Canadians in limbo in USA nazi camps doesn’t set a precedent?

I suspect this belies, the truth that a major fuel shortage is going to hit the world like a sack of bricks. In a year when we’re about to witness the real ramifications of our failure to address climate change.

I mean the rich are going to need all that jet fuel to fly around in their private jets. Can’t have us peasants wasting it on frivilous things.

So they’re expecting people to act like adults? If you want to travel, assume the risks, your mother isn’t there to bail you out. If something happens that requires diplomatic assistance, I’d expect them to intervene; otherwise you’re on your own when you travel. Choose where you go accordingly or stay home.

They absolutely will, and they will be alllll butt hurt about it when the government says sorry. You shouldn’t have traveled to an active war zone during a fuel shortage
