Hey folks,
Just wanted to share a site I’ve been using for a while now: Minute Cryptic (https://minutecryptic.online/).
It’s a free daily puzzle that posts one cryptic crossword clue per day — no accounts, no ads, just pure wordplay. Each clue is a mini logic puzzle where you have to figure out which part is the definition and which part is the wordplay instruction. Simple concept, but really satisfying when you crack it.
What I like about it:
One puzzle a day — no endless scrolling or addictive loops, just a quick mental warm-up
Smart hint system — 3 levels of progressive hints that nudge you toward the answer without spoiling it outright
Video breakdowns — every answer comes with an explanation so you actually learn the logic
I’m not affiliated with the site at all, just thought some of you might enjoy it as much as I do. If anyone else is into cryptic crosswords or daily brain teasers, I’d love to hear what else you’re playing.
Today’s clue is a good one — give it a shot and let me know how you go.
This looks like a clone of https://www.minutecryptic.com/
Okay, am I an idiot or does the example make zero sense?

Fucking what? Where did they get the letters RATE from?
Yeah this website looks like a vibe coded ripoff of https://www.minutecryptic.com/. The official website has videos explaining previous clues.
Step 2 has big “now draw the rest of the owl” energy
100%… I closed the site when I was to stupid to figure out the example
I don’t think you’re to stupid, I think this game is too stupid to figure out.
I played the first puzzle, apparently “Right” is supposed to stand for the letter “R” for some reason. That’s just fucking stupid right there.
Seems like a worse version of https://www.parseword.com/
The layout is broken on my phone, the keyboard doesn’t even fit the screen
