Why? Which providers? Fuck.

So, good but open models, hello regulatory capture.
Additionally, Canada will “advance work” on AI transparency, including watermarking AI-generated content so Canadians are better aware when they interact with the technology.
So foreign actors and companies will be fine, but Canadians will only be able to run approved workflows?
Good luck innovating with that.
This whole thing reads “we’ll be good little AI serfs to the US corps.”
