Literally no, or rather I should say, if only that were the case!!

The literal definition of the word moron is a mental age between 8-12, or in terms of IQ score between 51-70.

Whereas propaganda can affect people with literal PhDs, trained in the craft of problem-solving and discernment of the true hidden behind many sometimes conflicting facts.

Of course, I am aware that you meant the term more in the colloquial sense of “foolish or notably stupid person”. But therein lies the danger due to such ambiguity.

We should think of propaganda less dismissively imho, as in not something that mere morons would fall for, and rather as something that you or I and everyone we know or even do not know could easily fall for as well.

Propaganda affects not merely morons (implication: we here are safe) but PEOPLE.

      Strongly disagree.

At this point, with basically everyone having internet access and a free 13 years of education, if you fall for this shit and go all in without even doing the slightest bit of looking into things… you’re a moron.

I would bet 90% plus of separatists indeed fall into the 51-70 IQ range or lower.

100 is average IQ. There are about 41.5 million people in Canada. By definition approximately 20,750,000 people have a below average IQ. Alberta is about 5 million. I don’t how how many people are true separatists, but I think I’ve seen 20% being thrown around? That’s 1 million.

Not a stretch, at all, that almost all separatists are low IQ. Plenty of room on the left side of the bell curve for 1 million moron separatiats.
