“Hockey Night in Canada,” a program that has been part of the national fabric for nearly 75 years on CBC television, will not return to the public broadcaster next season.
I haven’t watched it in forever, but it does feel like something lost.
NHL is basically unwatchable now though with the digital ads on the boards and everywhere. I’ll go to a game in person where I can see the game IRL, but as for watching it on TV, that is done for me.
