After years of teases and hints, Bethesda Game Studios has officially confirmed Fallout 5's development is under way with new details about its pre-production.

I had some fun with the usual fallout gameplay but the dialogue and story were the typical Bethesda oversanitized stuff, which I find very boring now. The settlement mechanic was annoying. The backstory killed a lot of the immersion for me especially because it was predictable and kind of cheesy.
There’s no need to get defensive, not everyone is going to like games that you like.
I’m not defensive. I just think gamers have unrealistic expectations these days. Everything needs to be brand new with novel mechanics, hyper realistic, the most interesting story ever or people aren’t happy. It’s boring.
