One of the questions:
“1. People should be able to express their gender however they choose.”
Is pretty open ended. That can mean something different to many people.
Yes, that is precisely the point
If the question means different things to different people, it’s a bad survey question.
Not if the thing under discussion fundamentally means many different things to many different people, again that is the entire point.
According to whom?
If it means different things to different people, it’s impossible to make a valid conclusion.
Not only it’s very much possible, it’s the whole point of open ended questions. Where are you pulling those confident assessments from?
It requires a yes no answer. That’s not an open ended answer. That’s why it’s flawed.
