I’m still personally on socials unfortunately because it’s the only way to get any reach as an artist, but I’m merely explaining why so many vulnerable people hop off of it. That said, your comment is straight up victim blaming.
The other half of the equation is that the platforms are actively deplatforming leftists. You can’t even bring up genocide without risking a shadowban or just straight up losing your account.
Hell, a personal example, I got permabanned from Reddit a few years ago for saying that riot police should quit their jobs in shame following Roe v Wade. I still stand by that statement fwiw
