No scientific proof at all but it feels like washing powder does a much better job at removing stains than washing liquid.
It also seems more and more difficult to find washing powder in store as manufacturers are moving to liquid and even more a rip off - pods. Don’t get me started on these money spinners.

But liquide is easy tocuse for people like me. But I agree ease of use is not the best criteria. But when you are delivered to yourself and don’t know how to does nor nothing, a pod seems like a good solution, just put one in the drum and done. But after you buy two or three boxes anyone with two brain cells, sees it is a rip off.
