Dr. Kost is among a small number of otolaryngologists who do this type of work in Canada.
She said she is part of a group of about 70 surgeons from around the world who perform these technically challenging procedures. They require specialized equipment and higher levels of training.



This should be publically funded. It’s life saving healthcare.
But what about publicly funded implants for boobs and weiners?
Perhaps. There’s already a huge demand for gender affirming care via breast implants among women. Perhaps public funding would also help steer towards longer lasting and less harmful implants at lower prices.
