There’s VCN for all-Canada, and if you want to diversify without investing the the US there’s also VE for the EU and VIU for “everybody but Canada and America”
I don’t have the answers but these have at least performed in the ballpark of the S&P in the last year or so, all conflicts and oil shocks considered.
