More modern research is starting to explore the biochemistry involved with adverse outcomes. That being the case, people saying bad outcomes are based on lifestyle issues that go hand in hand with using sugar substitutes are behind the curve in the research.
Overall, my opinion is they are generally bad if you consume them multiple times every day, at minimum.
