Yeah it’s very off-putting. When i watched the trailer i just went “what the heck happened to little zelda’s face?” I never seen her nose that pronounced.
One of my biggest issues is that every face seems to have had a different “style,” a different design aesthetic.
There are several races in Hyrule, sure, whatever. But Zelda is wildly different than Link who is wildly different than Ganon or Impa, and they all look different than the townsfolk.
They wanted to make things “realistic” with this doll aesthetic thing, but as you try to be more realistic when all the faces look different that stands out.
