Maybe the NDP should have run someone serious in the election.

The left wing can’t complain when they didn’t even show up for the election as a party. Singh’s numbers were abysmal for two past elections. The NDP didn’t have the ball’s to drop him and they still didn’t have any serious candidates in their leadership race.

So until there’s an alternative party that bothers trying, it’s between the new conservatives and the CPC. Sadly, there was only one actual leader in that election.

Nothing you have said makes it wrong to criticize the government in power. Part of the problem is that too many folks think that elections are the only points at which the people can exert influence. Do you agree with Carney’s decision to have Harper helping on this, or not?

No, you can criticize them, but there’s a bunch of comments about shame on the people who voted Carney when there was no other option.

On some things I’m happy, on others I’m very angry. I hate Harper, but he’s got influence with uber rich resource extractors.

          1. you were replying to my comment not those other ones
          2. yeah that influence with uber rich resource extractors is BAD for Canadians — Carney is selling us out to foreign ownership and weakening our democracy by doing so.
