And where are we supposed to get the trillions needed to get these developed AND the money to build non-market housing?

At the end of the article: tax profits and wealth. I’m hoping this means corporate taxes.

So you want higher taxes on big corporations… like the big corporations at the investment summit… that you’re against… You don’t see a problem here?

You asked where the money was coming from, I told you the artical says at the bottom.

I could see an argument that charging companies a tax would dissuade them from coming to Canada. I think this is fine, we can see the general results of race to the bottom in the states.

You’ve defended what we’ve been doing since at least the 80s and it hasn’t worked well for most Canadians. Theres a well respected book “capital in the 21st century” that details why, and provides remedy: taxes.

You should check out the results in countries that did what Avi wants to do. Spoiler alert: communism is much worse.

Tesla (Nikola Tesla) was a great scientist and an inventor well before that asshat Elon used his name for the Nazi mobile. Educate yourself.

Taxation is not communism, its not anywhere near communism. I don’t know how you could have made that jump.

Yes everyone in 2026 is going to assume you meant the scientist, go back to having sex with your pidgeon.

I was talking about the article originally posted, and pointing out to you that Avi did address your concerns that he had ideas how to pay: taxation. Then you said they were communist, when I point out that taxation and communism has nothing to do with each other. you go off into something completely outside of this articles scope.

You also fail to acknowledge anything about the attractiveness of pidgeons.

                  But fine.

I know that Avi is against selling Canadian airports. I know that Canada ran all its own power services Mich better and more reliablly then post privatization. These things aren’t mentioned in the article though.

My bad. There were a lot of people responding to my post, I guess I lost track of what specifically you were focused on.

My main gripe with Avi is that his ONLY solutions are straight out of the communist book. There might be a place for some of that as a small part of a greater plan but that’s not what he offers. That’s where the whole “communism” thing came from. For the record, I was born in a communist country, so yes I know exactly what it is and how it ends up.

Pigeons suck. Canada geese is where it’s at. All that attitude…

Make companies pay for their fucking share.

They benefit from our infrastructure, education and health-care services to deliver their goods, have specialized employees and healthy workers, but they’re not paying into the system. AND they get taxpayer funded welfare all the fucking time.
