Transport Minister Steven MacKinnon won’t guarantee the cost to fly won’t go up for travellers if the federal government follows through on its plan to privatize Canada’s four largest airports but does promise an improved experience and partial regulation.
I guess this is what happens when there’s a neoliberal in charge. I’m not a fan of his policies, but this one seems particularly dumb. Selling off public assets has never helped the people or government in the long term.
It’s not dumb if you understand all his policies exist to benefit the wealthy . Dude will happily grind average Canadians into dust. Remember when average Canadians supported Air Canada flight attendants because they were being forced to work unpaid?
