note i don’t have any experience with these, nor do i have any clients that use them… but here we go: ecwid and panierdachat are based in montreal… and prestashop is french and is open source software (you run on your own server or web space) or use their own hosted service. (just add a .com to any of those company names find them online).
shopify is canadian, btw, but i totally understand wanting to avoid them.

Ecwid originated in Russia but is currently based in Austin, Texas.
it was acquired by montreal based lightspeed a number of years ago.
*Shopify, Spotify is Swedish, I think.
Ecwid, now there’s a name I haven’t encountered in over a decade.
