As a collector, it’s essentially over for me. I don’t know how many of us are out there that feel that way, but I used to spend a lot of money on games and now I’m going out of my way to not buy any anymore console games.
Switch and their virtual cards can also suck it. If I can’t fire something up in 20 years and it can’t play a game, I might as well stick to PC, right?
I spent 30 years building my library and owning my games. I guess being able to lend a game to a friend was costing them too much. The resale of used games were dollar signs that they felt belonged to them.
