Bloc Québécois leader Yves-François Blanchet on Tuesday voiced support for Taiwan's participation in international organizations and called for closer economic ties during a meeting with President Lai Ching-te (賴清德) in Taipei.
It wasn’t official, as per the link they posted the languages are the official languages of Canada and thus services are offered in both.
When Manitoba joined Canada it was bilingual but Ontario resettled it with Irish people to erase the French (and indigenous) with the language eventually being dropped from it’s elevated status.
