Recommend some Canadian books. I just picked up an author that I enjoyed and I’m pleasantly surprised to discover they are Canadian.
Guy Gavriel Kay is my favourite author in the world, he writes a particular style of realistic historical fantasy. His prose reads a lot like Tolkien, and he’s from Winnipeg.
Tigana is one of his more famous books, but my favourite is probably Lions of Al-Rassan.
