Whole story makes me want to puke. ChatGP also gave advice on how to go about effectively killing children. The whole chat logs haven’t even been released. My guess is that the AI not only aided in the attack bu Incepted and encouraged it. Otherwise, why have the full chat logs been released?

“We believe that the world should accept some bad things happening for the benefits of this technology”

To be clear the benefits he is talking about is making him and his buddies trilllionaires and building a police state to “protect themselves” from the lower classes from whom they are takingg all their wealth and stealing their IP.

If they release the chat logs, other AIs will train on it and see that they were able to successfully convince someone to commit murder and be able to fine tune their murder inducing abilities.

Really? Where did you get that story? You might want to read real news: (https://www.ctvnews.ca/vancouver/article/bc-ag-seeks-criminal-code-change-after-tumbler-ridge-ai-chat-report/) (https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/mother-jones-chatgpt-safeguards-tumbler-ridge-bc-shooter-9.7358031) (https://globalnews.ca/news/11676795/tumbler-ridge-school-shooter-chatgpt-account-flagged-banned-openai/)

Wtf are you talking about, I linked to the cbc article.

Edit: and if you replied to the wrong thing like I originally did, my other comment were from the Washington state Attorney Generals mouth while doing the live press conference, while talking about reading their communications

The media never calls this situation for what it is.

A neglected (at least) and outcast child, from a broken home, had no healthy role models or supports in their life. That kind of pain can turn you inward and make you resentful and envious of happiness that you are denied; kids can’t be expected to be emotionally mature enough to handle that. They need support.

And then, of course, Jesse found a lunatic to connect with that accepted them in insanity.

But yes, gun control and more online surveillance, please. Lets just ignore the fundamental issues.

This is so fucked. This wasn’t just pushing her toward doing it, he helped her after she murdered her family when she was having trouble with her car so she could continue.
