Hahahaha I wasn’t fooled. I was telling everyone else they were fools for wanting to vote for him during the election campaign. And I remember how people downvoted me.

    I voted NDP.

Even if the leader was unpopular for whatever reason you could name, they were the best choice. A stronger NDP presence, even with the Conservatives leading a minority gouvernent, would’ve been better than what we have now. At least there would have been a stronger voice for the working class and the environment. PP and Carney would have had to make compromises with them. Instead we have a conservative party, worse than Stephen Harper’s, that’s essentially destroying democracy and free speech in Canada, and selling Canada’s ressources to the U.S. wholesale during a trade war.

The only good thing to come from it honestly though was the leadership change of the federal NDP. I didnt mind Jagmeet, but Avi is speaking a lot louder for the important issues. Its just too bad there’s not much realistically that they can affect. (I also voted NDP but the liberal party didnt have a chance in my riding anyway)

Oh, absolutely! I love Avi and how well he communicates. I feel he’s got a better chance at reaching the working class and convincing them to switch from liberal/conservative to NDP. Simply based on the common struggles we all face and the failure of our government to address them.
