You say that but my nieces play both Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom and they’ve never played Ocarina of Time.

I know they would love this game but since you’ve purchased and played this game before that means other shouldn’t have the opportunity to?

I think you have a good point, younger people will enjoy more games with better QoL than old games and of course mechanics and graphics, the last one in particular because people tend to confuse good graphics and good games

But still, Nintendo keeps playing over and over with the same exact titles, they know Zelda sells, and they know specifically Ocarina sells, then they keep selling you the same game, with new graphics.

Take Monster Hunter for instance, Capcom instead of recreating the same Monster Hunter 2000 times, they just create a new game with new things, because Monster Hunter don’t have a “always seller title that we can sell you eternally” like Ocarina, so they keep forward

And don’t get me wrong, Ocarina is a great game, and Nintendo isn’t stupid, they know the math, but let’s think this: Aren’t they (the company, in this case Nintendo) the ones who are forcing you to NOT TO PLAY their own games? If you try to emulate they sue you, they don’t care if you owned the game or not, why is so hard to almost every company to simply have an compability layer (when they developed this machines, and backwards compability isn’t something new) with older consoles, so you simply go to the eShop and pay for the old Ocarina? Because they think that if they do that, they can’t sell you their new remaster.

That wasn’t what I meant, I think everyone should have the opportunity to play it for free, and not the $70 I’m guessing they’re going to charge for a 30 year old game.
