I’d bought Suri’s after my Philips Sonic are broke and they said “we don’t fix them” after I emailed their support.
My wife’s Suri stopped charging (just after the warranty) and they offered me . replacement for £25, if I sent the old one in for recycling, which is a good deal, but they didn’t make any offer of repair.
Pretty sure they could be repaired/reconditioned if you have some aptitude for the task, but you’re right not a service they offer. Just an assumption on my part. Sure cant do anything with the braun/oral b plastic contraptions.
The £25 replacement in exchange for return is a pretty responsible business practice in my eyes. Whether they rwcycle, recondition or harvest parts, its not plastic landfill with a battery inside.
have been using a suri for half a year now. Awesome device. Doesn’t do anything useless like bluetooth or “smart” features. Just brushes teeth. And that perfectly well, while being super compact and with an enormous battery capacity.
Suri Metal, repairable construction, charge lasts months not days, vastly reduced plastic waste.
The oral b and braun offers are just hunks of overpriced plastic that seem to be unchanged except gimmicks for the last 40 years.
Are they repairable?

And it is not ridiculously expensive either.
I’ll have to check it out, since my Phillips Soniccare button has disintegrated into plastic specs.
