so in other words, bethesda saw everyone accurately calling that it would be called “hammerfell” and decided it had to be changed.
It may actually not be in Hammerfell only. There’s a chance it will have High Rock too similar to TES: Daggerfall
So, maybe they didn’t want to name it after one region when the game will have two regions
