They already dragged me back with Reforged. I’m guess I’m in it for the long haul.
Hmm, just checked my account. My og guild wars is no longer listed. Do I have to buy reforged or can I still play the original somehow?
I went through this a few months ago when I heard about it. If you already had guild wars it should have became reforged which is the new remaster version of the original and includes access to the mobile app that was also released. Sadly the original is no longer available as this takes its place. I tried it briefly on my phone and wasnt a fan, but I would like to try out the desktop version which will probably be better for me.
I had no clue they were releasing new content though. I guess it makes sense since that was probably the entire point in releasing it on mobile. Instead of creating an entire new game it was probably easier to recreate the existing one and appeal to old fans plus new ones who never played it and make some more money off the upcoming new content. Pretty good idea, i just wish the old version still existed as well.
Can’t you still access the old version in the game? You can chose between reforged and non reforged mode.
Just checked and it replaced the original completely.
What’s the difference anyway?
I have never even played Guild Wars and I am excited by this. With so many games being abandoned shortly after launch, this is very cool to see.
I hope for the GW community that this will be better than WoW Shadowlands. Because that expansion was absolute dogshit.
I guess it can’t be any worse.
