A majority of Canadians want the country to accept fewer immigrants and temporary residents next year, according to a new Nanos Research survey commissioned by CTV News, as the country continues to grapple with immigration levels and their impact on housing, services and the economy.
The survey found that 52.3 per cent of respondents believe Canada should accept fewer immigrants and temporary residents in 2027, compared with 33.5 per cent who want the numbers to remain about the same.

What a disgusting way to describe immigration, shame on you.
I mean, how else would you describe the largest population increase in history (2022-2023)?
This way, but putting into context narratives of being “crowded out” and not having enough “stuff” for more people.

And this is why we should not use Wikipedia as a primary source. https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/statistics-canada-population-growth-9.7361422
The numbers being revised does not change the overall trend.

And the overall trend is Carney putting the door back on. See?
