A majority of Canadians want the country to accept fewer immigrants and temporary residents next year, according to a new Nanos Research survey commissioned by CTV News, as the country continues to grapple with immigration levels and their impact on housing, services and the economy.

The survey found that 52.3 per cent of respondents believe Canada should accept fewer immigrants and temporary residents in 2027, compared with 33.5 per cent who want the numbers to remain about the same.

People want their lives to improve, immigrants improve their lives, this is a narrative that always appeals to people if you openly point out and reject the underlying racism and xenophobia of people like you who are trying to divide people with their snowflake feelings of anxiety about people that look different than them and fairy tale anecdotal stories they clutch on to as signs the sky is falling because of “new and scary” people.

That’s a lot of big assumptions for a tiny lil squirrel brain…

I’m glad that the majority doesn’t care about the opinions of idiotic elitist morons who think any conversation that isn’t 100% pro mass migration and sympathetic to illegal immigration is automatically"racism" and “xenophobia”.
