I guess we’re talking local gas, and the argument is something like “support your local oil co.”?
Not that it makes it any better but that’s the reasoning that eluded me. It’s fucked up though, because this is what countries/regions/politicians do all over the world: save the planet, sure, but local jobs come first.
Sure, and our planet doesn’t need saving. Planets don’t just break.
Galaxy brains.
WUT 😲

OK rich people will always attract public attention but this phrase is just fucked up.
Yeah it’s a great commentary on what political discourse has turned into due to lack of … how to put this … reliable policy/statements.
Sure someone will correct me on this one soon. If you do please provide a better adjective. TIA!
All the big Silicon Valley sociopaths did!
This is just another empty promise trying to drum up public support! “Vote for me and everyone everywhere will die” sounds great, but look around, there’s till a lot of people alive!
Love it. And for some reason I’m now imagining how online conservatives would rail against this one. Probably not even getting the point of the satire.
Just where did the original anchor this one’s filling in for go? I didn’t hear that bit.
OK, no I don’t have that. Did not know that was required to get a .eu.org subdomain.
Client or server?
Not my use case, but it’s amazing that this exists. No registration necessary.
Nice. Just registered an account and tried to register a subdomain.eu.org to my VPS’ IPv4 address, but I keep getting
SOA from SUBDOMAIN.EU.ORG at nnn.nn.nn.nn: Error: Timeout
Maybe I just have to wait but I’m not sure I’m doing this right at all…
I do mind not being accessible to the average person.
Not sure how to explain how imagination works.
Unless you meant something else?
Are you saying website owners are always located in the country their .tld belongs to?
I’m looking for solutions here, so I did go to the actual site and checked before I wrote the above.

I think we have a winner. Let’s see how they respond to my explanations.
Thanks. Based in NL is certainly a plus.
Thanks, this looks good.
will ask for cc details.
So far I never had any problems making stuff up there.
That’s good to hear 👍
I was sarcastically quoting those galaxy brains. Of course they’re technically correct, that was my whole point.
I have taken to talking about saving the ecosphere instead.
I’d still prefer to avoid a human made extinction event.
