Have you played e.g. marathon 2? Since you haven bought it, I can assume you haven’t played Marathon, so it’s a bit weird you are so opinionated on it? Is it because you are a D2 player? Because i am playing that still. Its as alive as its ever been.

What are your top3 reasons it qualifies as „abomination“?

Marathon is not an exclusive.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle comes to mind, the first few CoD, and at least the first MoH. Gearbox made a quite good Brothers in Arms game.
