Anyone wondering why no data minimising technology is used that does not link your actual identity to a verification of actually being over 18? I guess not.

Because it is clearly messing with more than just “lighting”. While the spatial models appear untouched, it heavily changes textures, inventing details that simply were not there before, no matter what lighting. And then some of that “lighting” is also used to imply spacial details that were not there before.
All of that creates that incredibly artificial and sloppy overall impression at “100%”. At lower percentages it likeky won’t be better, the sloppiness will be merely more diluted and therefore more tolerable.
I am still shocked that they started to ship first phones to media outlets and what they sent looks like half decent at least 150-200 USD phone, properly functionally Android stuff. I’d be even more shocked if eventually regular people would get something for their money. How much was it? 400-500 USD?
And if they actually did glue the tacky cover on in the US, the “assembled in the US” label might not even be fraudulent.
What’s next? Trump putting voluntarily a limit of 1 bn USD on the money he will rob from the US tax payer with no oversight?
