It was because he framed the lawsuit leading up to it as if it was over Dumbass’s (I forgot his name) fraudulent records and not over defammatory statements about Dumbass’s response to some other gamer offing themselves or some such similar tangential issue.

It’d definitely be a good thing. Point is, getting rid of cars won’t be a good thing until effective alternatives are actually available.

It will always be possible. The punishments need to be very harsh, because white collar crime never “needs” to happen.

White collar crime is pure greed, though, and that’s 90% of what politicians are doing right now in the US…

There are many motivations for crime, and we need to start punishing the poeple that don’t “have” to do the crime A LOT more harshly, and the people that do “have” to commit the crime far less.

You’re going to need A LOT more public transit already in place before banning cars would ever be a remotely ‘good’ idea.

Those are far too generic of things to place you on the spectrum more than, “not a conservative fuckwad that doesn’t care about others”, which itself is a huge spectrum.

As Cowbee said, a lot of the differentiation on the left is economic prescription, and your plan for how to bring that prescription in to reality. Most all of the left is socially progressive and accepts others, so that’s not differentiating much.

Not just investors. Capitalists in general. The stock market just makes it much easier for capitalists to pretend that profit at any expense is wise.

The new Naked Gun, actually. The idea falls in to the same FUCK NO camp as every other god damn nostalgia grab from Hollywood in recent years. The plot is stupid, even compared to some of the old Leslie Nielsen movies that worked the plot developments in to jokes a bit better and naturally had more of their own humor than references … buuuuut, the execution still had me straight up laughing out loud at quite a lot of it.
