2·14 hours agoThe high charity level was unbelievable. It just tossed you in front of some needler grunts and Brutes and called it a day. To this day the line “Watch out for the Captain, it’s got a Brute Shot” is still burned into my mind because of how many times I had to hear it

2·22 hours agozealot feels perfect for Infection. I’m not sure if it’s the right corridors or what but it feels like the Infection map

2·22 hours agoDamn. Me and a friend took months to finish Halo 2 on legendary. I think I’d do a yearly replay if it wasn’t for that. I have lots of respect for you doing the replays

1·2 days agoThat’s what. I’ve been trying to get into game dev myself multiple times the last few years and it’s difficult. I can’t imagine getting one game out, let alone a second one. Getting that far I imagine has to drain a person

2·2 days agoSome people find it to be repetitive and low effort, which, as much as I love doing these, I can understand their perspective. The last few days have been mostly Halo and Zomboid (and Shadow of Mordor one time) while I finish the move over to CachyOS. So I kind of understand where they’re coming from.
I still enjoy it though, and as long as other people are enjoying it, I’ll probably keep going (or until life requires too much time of me).

2·2 days agoI didn’t discover this game until a few years ago, it blew my mind to find out it used to be 2D. I kind of want to go check out the oldest builds just to see what it’s like

2·2 days agoThat’s really the only thing keeping us from jumping ship to Build 42. Once it gets it I don’t think there’s much keeping us from switching over, especially with all the new building stuff

4·2 days agoIt really is. At least for me, that’s where I have a lot of my fun.
As long as no one else is being affected and my experience is being hampered I will

1·3 days agoFair enough, even with how much I play I still have to learn new things. I get the time commitment being an issue

1·3 days agoRV Interior is definitely a staple of my modpack. It’s definitely OP. Though, I have heard there’s a bug with interiors spawning with a fuckton of zombies in it. So the risk of that happening is probably at least a bit of an upset

3·4 days agoIt’s a staple of any time i play with mods. Plus i feel like it adds a bit of “lore” to the character if they lose an arm. Especially on multiplayer with friends it can build their characters “lore” too.
I’ve thought about week one, but afaik there’s no multiplayer. I love this game and the NPC mod added a lot of life to the game, but multiplayer is where i have the most fun

4·4 days agoThe amputation was a mod, but besides that it’s all vanilla. I really like it because it feels like surviving an actual zombie apocalypse.
Honestly, i think the way it looks kind of helps all the features. If it was full on 3D like Skyrim or something i think there would be a lot less stability due to how much is going on. Plus the top down keeps me from getting overwhelmed

6·5 days agoThank you! It’s been a lot of fun doing these. I’m just glad I’ve gotten a chance to talk about games I play. I like to help people broaden their horizons, and I think in a way this has helped me broaden mine too. There’s been so many people who have suggested new games and other stuff that it’s helped me try new experiences (ironic considering all the Halo it’s been lately though).
So, uh, I guess what I’m saying is fuck you too!

4·5 days agoI always hear people praise the Shadow franchise, and not to put Mordor down, but get the feeling War is the one everyone is talking about, so I do plan on playing it. I know a bit about it and it sounds like a lot of fun

The forge based maps have some really solid ones. There’s one called Asylum (I think?) that I like to play Slayer on. it’s got like this little tower in the center with bridges connecting it too two other platforms.
