I wish my wife could play subnautica with me, as she likes swimming around and stuff but isn’t really “good” at video games, since she never played one until adulthood.

In Minecraft it’s mostly me doing the work while she does farming stuff. I once came back from a deep mining trip to see a once-empty field filled to the maximum with cows. We had a nice library afterward though.

I still haven’t beaten subnautica without cheating or taking shortcuts. Heck when I first downloaded it, it didn’t even have an ending yet.

9.3/10, it’s fun

I mean, half of my hammers have had their handles remade with whatever hardwood was closest. So I’m gonna go with those.

However, the most complex thing that I can repair with sourced parts would be either my truck, or my truck. I’ve had to fix it with “close enough” parts before, and I will fix it until the frame rusts (which given Northern states and salted roads probably won’t be more than a few more years)

There’s a smattering of electronics that I’ve seen mentioned multiple times as well.

One thing that is theoretically repairable, but is hard to find parts for, my washing machine. It’s a old 50s model with a lever to engage the motor, a roller on top to squeeze water out, and a simple steel gear system to drive everything. I should be able to open it up with a crescent wrench and flat head screwdriver, but I doubt I will ever be able to find ready-made parts (I have looked briefly when I thought I had a problem with it that sorted itself) but I might be able to bodge some things together if needed.

Yeah I got mildly excited when I read the title, and now I’m just mildly irritated.

Good for pc players though, it’s something!

Fuck it I’m buying it now.

Half life 2 was my first “I can’t wait to get home and play” game, despite having played so many games from basically 97 onward.

It seems like every time it goes on sale, I am either between contracts or just not able to justify the unnecessary expense.

Now that I have more stable employment it hasn’t gone on sale.

Honestly this by itself might be enough to make me pay full price.

I wonder how long it took, considering they wrote a script to convert the original transcription into PZ usable stuff.

I ate it because I kept reading “aquariums” and thinking the author meant protected wildlife areas, and it didn’t click until I got to “marine exhibit”

And now I can honestly imagine them allowing rich fucks to literally fish inside national aquariums for a price.

Well, I ate the title. It seems perfectly reasonable to me.

I legitimately expect there to be something negative about unions in it. Whether it’s a “corrupt union boss” or a union strike blamed for something bad happening.
