MS did the asymmetric layout to avoid patents that existed on previous Sony controllers… they weren’t trying to innovate or anything like that

There is something else you forgot, Steam has a library with thousands of games. More games than most console’s entire libraries combined.

I’ve got it working but, unfortunately, when wireless the controller has unacceptable input lag. Might be something interfering with the bluetooth signal, I don’t know.

The regular PS4 controller works fine. Works well in steam, lutris, retroarch and the few native games I own, never had any (unsolvable) problems with it.

I still have a few save state hacking guides floating there :)
