Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What technology will disappear in the next 10 years?
111·1 year agoWireless charging is slow, inefficient, and straight up wastes power. It’s not that great.
You are actually just insane and should shut up.

101·1 year agoI’ve realized how easy it is to just actually run a network rather than half ass it with tailscale. I recommend this, it’s fun.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•"1.32 MB" Is that pronounced, "one-point-three-two" megabytes, or "one-point-thirty-two" megabytes?
9·1 year agoI agree that the precision is not that valuable as some have said. I’d just read the numbers off as one point two three megabytes since anyone who cares can reconstruct the number, anyone who doesn’t can stick to the first few sig figs.
For 257.62 GB I’d say “two hundred fifty seven point six two”. Yep. I put in the effort for the most significant of the digits, I dont bother beyond that.
8249.19 GB? About 8 terabytes. Doesnt really matter anymore.
Yes, but Canada does realize we’re just going to go to Europe? If you’re truly at the highest levels of your field and live in the US, Canada probably isn"t appealing at all. Especially with that economy lol.
There is no need, and you’re defeating the point of using tailscale. Use headscale if you cannot summit your anxiety around trusting tailscale.
Holy shit you got them to brigade your comment. They might as well be bots, I think Chat GPT’s “intelligence” outpaces them.

Why is your only solution to literally any problem to rewrite everything? Five months for non trivial auth is hilarious. It’s not like you used WindowsScript, that’s just C#.
