tldr systems are attackable during network boot

there are worms worse than google’s.

The problem is that android allows for manufacturers to install unremovable apps which contain said worms. If i cant trust the manufacturer i would prefer the poison i know (and know what to do with) over unnamed horrors.

Of course my highest preference would be to buy hardware seperate from software and put linux on everything, but not everybody is capable of doing that for every device and time also comes at a price.
