My wife! Everything feels natural, intuitive and wonderful every single day!
I am against animal agriculture for the same reason I am against sexism, racism, ableism, classism and homophobia.
The circumstances of a creatures birth does not dictate what it is “meant for”, every one deserves to live happy, healthily and with dignity, but some simply want to live.

Best GB since the original. Blows #2 or any of the other modern ones out of the water by a long shot.
I’m such a sucker for unreliable narrators so I’m gonna say Memories of Underdevelopment.
It’s a Cuban film following a vain, entitled, rich man in the 60s who is disgusted with what he sees as an immature country. Yet spends his life blaming all of his self inflicted personal problems on those he preyed upon.

Pirate software worked at blizz?! I had no idea, has he ever mentioned this before? He is such a modest humble guy so I doubt it.

Mise en place directly translates to having a password manager.
Instead of resetting your passwords every time because it’s impossible to remember all your logins (and exhausting to try) just have them in one place instead of scrambling each time.

I’m deeply sorry you had that experience. That has got to be deeply traumatic and I wouldn’t wish that on anyone. Thank you for what you do. Be gentle with your self.

Oooh that’s a good one!

I firmly believe the only reason this game is “beloved” is the same reason that iPhones sell just because of the logo of the company that made them.
It’s more nostalgia than branding. I’ll entirely agree that half life hasn’t aged great, but what’s important is the historical context. The games were groundbreaking for the time, especially HL2 with its physics engine and gravity gun. I remember playing it just days after release then being shocked and amazed at those different systems. There just weren’t many games with that level of polish tackling such a wide scope.
Just like with watershed TV/movie/music, it seems quaint and overhyped as their innovations become the norm.

Zero disagreement with any of that. It’s a violent, brutal, racist, greedy, cyberpunk dystopia out there.
Burn it all dowm. 🔥🇺🇸🔥

This is one of those situations where you’re correct, but also being poopy about it. For people who don’t regularly play games or can’t afford a system, this is basically a modern blockbuster.

Everyone in mine chooses a charity that gets donations in lieu of expensive gifts. We do very simple $10-20 gifts so we can still have the exchange and unwrapping process together as a family but the vast majority of funds go to better causes. If any of us need a thing, then we’ll buy that thing ourselves. Takes the guess work out of it all.
Naturally the kid-o’s still get absolutely spoiled.

Oh yeah, I picked out all the gifts for my wifes family. All of our gifts for everyone really. But that’s just our dynamic, she works out of the house and I deal with everything inside the home. The presents are from us as a unit, the details don’t matter.

Yup, you’re entirely correct, Obsidian is often and loudly praised, they deserve it. But also…
… they deserve a lil more… always a lil’ more!
(I’m just being silly and dum. I have just recently started their games and just wanted to sing their praises myself. Don’t mind me, just a lil fan girling out about great world building. 🥹)

Obsidian as a studio is super underrated. Both pillars of eternity has amazing worldbuilding and narrative. They aren’t unknown or anything, but gotdang they are some of the most creative devs out there!

That it’s fine to harm another so long as you enjoy it’s flesh and muscle.

Xbox itself, sure. But this boycott is for the larger war crimes that Microsoft is abetting via surveillance, storage and AI informed bombing in palestine. The corporation itself isn’t rotting, but a thriving pumpkin patch.
So much so that nearly all businesses and much government run and rely on Windows. Which is why Xbox in particular is being targeted. It’s a strictly consumer product that is not strictly nessecary with substitutions available.

You’re right, tradition is a poor reason for anything, abundantly agree. However this is an incredibly pedantic topic to deploy that argument. You’re taking a trueism and applying it to something with such low stakes that it becomes a little silly.
Which is why you’re getting so much push back. You’re repeating the same truth, but that’s not relevant to why people are down voting and sassing ya.

It’s fiction, not reality. I agree its a lot, I looked away a bit, but ya don’t have to be judgemental when no one was ACTUALLY hurt.

There is a bar with a N64 setup near me, every time we go I have to lap my wife a few times just to show her I still got it.
But then she beeats my ass raw at Marvel v Capcom. 😂
I’m sorry the world is like this.
