Canada@lemmy.ca•PM Carney says he’s seen tentative U.S.-Iran peace deal, calls conflict ‘worth it’
321·23 days ago“Lots needs to happen,” Carney later added. “We all have to support (the deal). But moving to this position, where that’s been taken off the table. Yes, that’s worth it.”
Maybe my English comprehension is not that great, but doesn’t this mean the deal is worth it, not the conflict?
I confused.
It’s https://voiden.md/

Selfhosted@lemmy.world•krypt - terminal password manager (tui)English
15·2 months agoSince this is vibe coded, I’d definitely like to see lots of testing in the same repo. And why not add automated testing in GitHub action on new pushed commits so we can all see the results without cloning it.
That could give some credibility to the code.
Edit: add a vulnerability scanner as an app in GitHub too

I think the main difference is that services adapt to mqtt while nfty adapts to services to send the msgs. Also, nfty offers push notifications on your Android device.

17·5 months agoI agree Trump and the ambassador to the US do help the public in supporting not going with the F-35 but calling it a potential phyrric victory because of the Gripens is too much
Just underneath that picture it says it was not implemented.
In 2013, a minority PQ government proposed the notorious “charter of Quebec values,” aiming to ban religious symbols for public servants, but it went nowhere after the PQ lost the 2014 election.
I’m curious to see your setup and logs as well. I’m going full steam quadlets too but I didn’t do arr yet.

171·9 months agoI have back and neck problem, I say fuck people with long legs, I gotta recline on long flights.
Your attitude kinda sucks, the airlines are the actual fucktwats who make our seating experience completely uncomfortable, not people who have different needs like you and I.

Canada@lemmy.ca•$500M bread price fixing settlement now open for Canadians to claim
1·10 months agoWhere did you read that? I’m only seeing it for people who already received a $25 card from Loblaws.
The law firms said Thursday that customers who previously received the $25 Loblaw card may submit a claim for additional compensation, but they will only be paid an incremental amount if there are sufficient settlement funds available.
They will also only receive additional compensation if the amount is more than the $5 minimum payment threshold set for the settlement.

138·10 months agoDamn I hope they win against the city. The typical law has to die, it’s ridiculously useless and detrimental to biodiversity.
Why should we have to maintain one type of plant which has problems surviving without lots of upkeep?
Oh, what is Ford trying to hide this time?
I think the idea is that we will make money by making the corpos pay for the transportation. It’s also a huge step done that is historically known to be problematic in building, so it can be attractive to investors of big oil.
I’m not happy to invest in oil but if we do, we need to make money off of it and not just give it all to companies.
This is just my opinion and I don’t know a lot.
