Yeah, I don’t know if I’ve seen anything other than barcoding for these types of projects. It’s better than nothing, though, which is sort of what we have at the moment, especially for northern regions.

This is a citizen science project, anyone can participate so long as you are in BC! You do need to have a (free) iNaturalist account to join the project and submit samples, though.
