Information is about as rapid as money exchanges. There’s so much going around because News is 24/7 and there’s so many outlets that it will burn out anyone’s minds trying to follow it all. It was like with the Hong Kong protests, it got traction for a while, then something else happened and it was dropped within weeks.

And we have all of these wikis in existence where the legitimacy of the articles written, are constantly challenged through the edits of those that believe differently in how it should be written to the reliable sources conflicting with those beliefs.

And we have generations of people who do not remember the time of certain events as they’ve happened where previous generations did. So it can be harder for someone who wasn’t born around the time of Pearl Harbor and WWII to relate and take in information as opposed to the one who actually lived it.

Then we take into account of instances of history being re-written by revisionists, some sections of history is white-washed, censored, redacted .etc

Top it all off with how incredulous and sensationalist projections the media reports that just shits all over it.

And we have ourselves one big, informational train-wreck where almost nobody knows what to believe. So what most people do anymore is if a news report aligns with their beliefs, they’re going to take it at face value.

That’s fine. That’ll just mean I’m a airborne disease since my invisibility would be infinite.

A lot of horror movie franchises would get retcon or some installments would outright be axed.

Friday the 13th would not need to go on for 10 movies. Get rid of Parts 9, 3, 5, X and 8. This is now going to be a compressed, coherent movie series of 5 movies where we attempt to establish a better comprehensible story involving Jason. Kane Hodder is the staple actor of Jason.

Nightmare on Elm Street, going to cut out Parts 6, 5, 2, and 4. Compress and re-write the story while retaining elements of selected pieces to build off from. The remake will not have ever happened. Freddy vs Jason would still happen but it would be involving the original creators of both Nightmare on Elm St and Friday the 13th and Kane Hodder will star as Jason. No cop out ending like the original version got, but the victor would not only be decided by final battle but also body count.

Halloween, take out 3, 4, H20, 2, 5, Resurrection and all of the Rob Zombie directed ones. Retcon.

Scream, that movie series feels more like a trilogy movie so that’s what it is going to be instead of all of these unnecessary installments.

Final Destination, same thing.

Saw, same thing as I felt the series ended beautifully with three movies but went entirely off the rails in later installments.

Puppet Master, I would honestly keep to 5, get rid of all of the ones where they focused too much on the Nazi stuff and the clash they had with Demonic Toys.

Leprechaun, just get rid of the ones where he entangles with the Hood and obviously the space one and max the series out at 2 films.

Hellraiser, keep it to two movies.

I don’t get the appeal, really. It’s just a lego-looking ripoff where the arms are fucking huge and everything. The things that get chosen to be popular, says a lot about people’s collective tastes sometimes.

I’m sure development studios and individuals have a sense of pride and accomplishment in receiving any award for their work. But, even then, there’s going to be volumes of people who’re going to always feel like their favorites were snuffed for reasons not known to us and it just makes more arguments than actual discussions.

You mean, argue about them? Because I don’t see a lot of good conversations regarding some video games unless it is a hivemind or a circlejerk. It must be on some universally agreed upon ruling before engaging some video game discussions, if not, then bickering or pelting virtual stones at the different thinker with opinions that goes against said hivemind.

I wouldn’t be complaining about this, except I am because Roblox is operated by pedos.

Something extreme measures such as face recognition has to be taken to ensure problems like this won’t happen again. However, though, pedophiles having access to data storage containing such verifications can go so wrong on so many levels.

So heres what they should do:

Fire and prosecute all of the pedos. Replace the pedos with trustworthy people to operate Roblox. Then go through verifying.

Why are we still caring about these stupid game award shows when it’s clear that they’re just padded with commercialism and favoritism?

I hate these awards and I hate the ones Valve hosts on their Steam platform. They are all just utterly meaningless. Just nothing but ways to get ‘gamurrrs’ to stir up pointless arguments about subjective things for clout.

TikTok has quickly earned a negative reputation to the things you’ve already listed off as having manufactured narratives. That platform alone has bred generations of people now who possess attention spans like a fly and believe nearly anything that’s on it like gospel.

The sooner you’re off it, the better.

That’s what I do with my job. PPTO, PTO and even a points-system exist primarily for when you want or need time off. I use it all the time. Sure, it’d be nice and awesome to save up the PTO and get that nice juicy bonus after a year (applicable with where I work). However, sometimes, the job itself doesn’t encourage you to be at your best at all times, it can be a grind and vice versa.

Fuck anyone who frowns on those that prioritize work/life balances. Because it’s clear as day, what working hard and selfless for the sake of the company does for you when you get fucked over anyways.

I think ranking algorithms are a disease of social media. I prefer none of them because all they do is just yank you around.

I prefer to be minimally informed than wildly misinformed.

There is way too much and always has been, this tug of war of which angle is the most righteous than that angle. Until I see some honest and serious action towards a better tomorrow that’ll benefit all (scratch that, how about the majority of those that just want live with as little conflict as possible), I can’t care too much about waving flags, playing labels, shouting buzzwords and brainwashing myself to think a certain way to appease some demographic.

It is incredibly taxing and exhausting.

History is an orchestra of this. Constantly showcasing events that pre-dated them happening to the aftermath of them happening.

Science Fiction authors from the 40s, 50s and 60s toyed with many scenarios and theories about where technology would wind up. Half of them were right, half of them were wrong. I think it’d be a dumb thing to say what you quoted.

So they invest millions in a project that fundamentally failed, ax the official servers prematurely and pretend it doesn’t exist.

But then go after people who still bother with it.
